How to Sell Used Music CDs on eBay – Lesson 8: Shipping a CD Safely with USPS

In the eighth lesson of this tutorial on selling used music CDs on eBay, I discuss how to properly ship a CD with the USPS. Besides showing you exactly what we use, I also talk about our reasons for doing so.

In order to ship a CD safely and prevent damage, we use two specific shipping boxes from ULINE.com. ULINE has reasonable prices, ships the same day when you order by 6pm, and provides boxes for shipping CDS that we can't find anywhere else.

The main box we recommend is lightweight, very sturdy, and has the proper dimensions (6" x 6" x 1.25") to keep the jewel case of your CD safe and intact.

I also talk about two USPS Priority Mail boxes which are free and ideal for shipping CDs. We always recommend offering Priority Mail to your customers as a paid option.

In addition to going over the CD shipping boxes we use, I provide a full demonstration of how we pack our CDs for shipment, including a complete list of shipping supplies.
